Returns & Warranty
What to do if something arrives faulty, arrives wrong, or turns out not to be what you needed — and what happens next.
The short version
- Faulty or incorrect
- Tell us within 7 days of delivery. We collect it at our cost and replace it or refund you in full.
- Changed your mind
- Tell us within 7 days of delivery. The item must be unused and in its original sealed packaging. Return shipping is at your cost.
- Refund timing
- Within 14 days of us receiving and checking the goods, to the account or card that paid.
- Warranty
- Manufacturer warranty on everything we supply. We handle the claim with the brand on your behalf.
Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods
Please check your delivery when it arrives. Visible transit damage or a missing item should be noted on the delivery paperwork and reported to us within 48 hours so we can claim against the carrier.
If an item is dead on arrival, develops a fault, or is simply not what you ordered, contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order reference and a photograph if the problem is visible. We arrange collection at our expense and, at your choice, replace the item or refund it in full including any delivery you paid.
Goods you no longer want
Business purchases do not carry an automatic right of cancellation once delivered, but we would rather you had the right equipment than the wrong one. We will accept a return within 7 days of delivery when all of the following are true:
- the item is unused and complete, with all accessories and documentation;
- the manufacturer’s packaging is intact and any factory seal is unbroken;
- the item was not built, configured, cut or ordered specially for you.
Return shipping is at your cost, and the goods remain your responsibility until they reach us — please pack them properly and use a tracked service. Once received and checked we refund the price of the goods.
What we cannot take back
Some things genuinely cannot be returned once supplied, unless they are faulty:
- software, licences and activation keys that have been issued or redeemed;
- equipment built, configured or imaged to your specification, and special-order items brought in for you;
- consumables whose seal has been broken, such as toner and ink;
- safes and heavy equipment that have been installed, anchored or modified;
- cut-to-length cable and other made-to-measure items.
Your rights in respect of faulty goods are unaffected by this list.
Manufacturer warranty
Everything we supply is genuine stock sourced through authorised channels and carries the manufacturer’s warranty — typically 12 months, and longer on many business products. The warranty period for a specific item is shown on its product page or on your invoice.
If something fails inside its warranty period, contact us rather than the manufacturer. We raise and track the claim with the brand, and tell you whether it will be repaired, replaced or credited. Warranty does not cover accidental damage, misuse, unauthorised repair, power surges or normal wear.
How to start a return
Email info@sostechnology.net or call +971 50 435 5002 with your order reference, the item, and what has gone wrong. We will confirm the return in writing and tell you how to send it back or when we will collect.
Please do not send anything back before we have confirmed it — an unannounced return is hard to match to an order and slows your refund down.
Cancelling before delivery
An order that has not yet shipped can be cancelled in full at no cost — just contact us with the reference. If it has already shipped, treat it as a return under the sections above. Special-order items that we have already committed to a supplier may carry the supplier’s cancellation charge, and we will tell you the amount before you decide.
These terms sit alongside our Terms of Sale.
