We collect only what is needed to quote, deliver and support an order. There is no profiling, no advertising audience, and nothing is sold or shared for marketing.

When you place an order

Your name, email address, phone number, delivery address, city and any delivery note you write. We need these to confirm the order, arrange delivery and raise an invoice.

When you request a quote or message us

Your name, company, email address, phone number, the product and quantity you asked about, and your message. We need these to reply to you.

When you apply for a trade account

The above plus your emirate and, if you provide it, your Tax Registration Number — used to verify the business and set up credit terms.

Your cart and wishlist

Kept in your own browser's local storage on your device. They are not sent to us and we cannot see them until you place an order.

Web server logs

Our server records the usual request information, including your IP address, so we can keep the site available and detect abuse.

This site runs no advertising trackers, no analytics tag and no social media pixels. Nothing on these pages reports your visit to a third party.

The only cookie this site sets is a sign-in cookie for our own staff using the internal operations console. It is strictly necessary, it is never set for customers browsing the shop, and it carries no tracking identifier. Your cart, wishlist and comparison list use your browser’s local storage rather than cookies, and stay on your device.

We do not ask for card details on this website and we do not store them. Orders placed here are recorded as awaiting payment, and our team contacts you to arrange it.

When online card payment is enabled, it will be handled on the payment provider’s own secure page. Your card number reaches that provider directly and never touches our server; we receive only the result of the transaction and a reference.

Your details are visible to SOS Technology staff who handle orders and enquiries. Beyond that, we share the minimum necessary with:

• the courier or delivery team bringing your goods — name, address and phone number only;
• our email provider, which carries the notification of your order or enquiry to our team;
• the payment provider, once online payment is enabled, for the transaction itself;
• an authority or regulator where we are legally required to respond.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not pass it to advertisers or data brokers under any circumstances.

Order and enquiry records are stored on a server we control, with access restricted to the site’s own service account and protected by an authenticated staff console. Traffic to this site is encrypted in transit.

We keep order records for as long as needed to support the sale, honour warranties and meet UAE tax and accounting obligations — ordinarily five years from the date of the invoice. Quote requests and general enquiries that do not become orders are kept for up to 24 months and then removed.

You can ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop using it for a particular purpose. Write to info@sostechnology.net with enough detail for us to find your records, and we will respond within 30 days.

Where a record is needed to meet a legal or tax obligation we may have to keep it for the remainder of that period, and we will tell you if that is the case.

The site is served over encrypted connections, the staff console requires a password and holds a short-lived session, sign-in attempts are rate-limited, and the server is kept patched. We keep dependencies up to date and audit them for known vulnerabilities.

If you believe you have found a security problem with this site, please tell us at info@sostechnology.net. We will acknowledge you and will not pursue anyone who reports a genuine issue in good faith and without accessing other people’s data. See security.txt.

If we change how we handle personal data we will update this page and the date at the top of it. Material changes affecting existing customers will also be sent by email.
